Membership in the Perry Como Lodge has many benefits, some of which are highlighted on our web site. Other benefits include:

Membership Requirements

Eligibility

In order to become a member of the Perry Como Lodge and the Order of Sons of Italy in America, you must be Italian or of Italian descent, or the spouse or adopted child of a person of Italian descent. Non Italians can join as Social Members.

Dues

The Perry Como Lodge dues for regular membership are $50 per year per regular member and $20 per year for full time undergraduate and graduate students. There is a one time application fee of $15.

Meetings

Although members are not required to attend a minimum number of meetings during the year, members are encouraged to become active in the lodge’s many activities and support its various functions. If you can’t make a meeting, visit the web site for up to date information.

Membership Process:

Obtain an Application ( Contact membership chair )

· 1 Application per Member.

· 1 time application fee per application - $15.

· Lodge Member annual fee - $50 per member.

· College Student Member annual fee - $20 per member.

( Undergraduate or Full Time Graduate Student).

· Installations held at General meetings.

· Orientation Sessions will be held at 7 pm on a night between the Council meeting and the General meeting.

Dates and location to be announced.

· Prospective members can attend a meeting. If they then complete an application and submit it with their check, they can then continue to attend meetings while waiting to be installed. If after attending a meeting, they are not ready to submit an application and check, they can not attend meetings until they are ready to join. All prospective members require a sponsor; either an existing member they know or a member of the Membership Committee.
